An interesting pair of Tea Trade Gouache paintings. The first depicting the tea sieved and processed within exotic panelled buildings, the trays being laid to dry upon a lakeside aerated wall and surrounded by potted plants. The second, showing a tea Hong at Canton, with the tea being weighed, packed and sold to a European trader.
