An exquisitely embroidered coverlet in coloured silks on a rich dark blue ground. The central medallion with Rococo style floral swags surrounding a stylised chrysanthemum. The main ground with a mass of delicate tied wildflowers, all within a triple border containing a cornucopia of exuberant blooms with further exotic stylised fruit in reds, pinks, yellows and greens. The fringed border mirroring the colours of the main design. The overall piece with vibrant colours and in pristine condition.
