23. Riding Coat (Xingshang)

An extremely unusual Manchu Bannerman’s informal riding coat in silk gauze, with delicate roundels. The front overlap on this style of riding coat was cut short and held in place with loop-and-toggle fastenings to keep it in place while riding.
