One with alternating vertical panels of black and mottled dark grey lacquer, in the form of a ridged helmet. The front with a gold mon (family crest) of the Tachibana family (a powerful court clan).
The second with lacquer dragon designs in red and gold, the interior lacquered in red.
The third decorated all over in black lacquer with two gold circles, the front with Hosokawa family mon.
The fourth with black lacquer gold rim and family crest in the shape of three stylised kiri leaves.
