1. Imperial Brush Pot
China. 18th century
5 1/2" x 5 1/3'' - 14cm x 13.5cm

An extremely rare Brush Pot, in Hu Yang Mu, carved
from a fine tight burr, supported on three integral
feet. The original plug with six character Qianlong
mark.
Note: Hu Yang Mu is an extremely slow growing
tree
from North West China much appreciated for its
dense & tight burr.
